Some stories are inspiring and give important lessons for life. This is the story of an 80-year-old man who brings his wife breakfast every day, at the home for the elderly. He wants to take care of his wife even though she is old and it is difficult.
The old man would not want to leave his wife alone in the old people’s home, but she suffers from “Alzheimer’s Disease”. He surprised everyone when he said that his wife did not know him. However, this did not stop him from taking care of his wife, and he brought her food every morning.
When a nurse asked him how his wife would feel if he didn’t bring her breakfast one day, he said that his wife didn’t remember him from five years ago. “She doesn’t know who I am. She hasn’t known me for five years.”
Everyone is surprised by the generous behavior of the old man. The nurse asked him why he did this even though his wife doesn’t know him. At this moment, the man gave an answer that touched everyone’s hearts. He gave a strong message to everyone. “Indeed, she does not know me, but I know her.” His eyes filled with tears and he smiled.
