Panicked crew of doomed business jet issued warning moments before it plunged 30,000ft, killing all nine

A terrifying cockpit recording has revealed the desperate final moments of a private jet crew as their aircraft rapidly lost altitude over Florida. What began with warnings about ice and severe turbulence soon turned into an emergency the pilots could no longer control.

The Bombardier Learjet 60 crashed in Greenacres, near West Palm Beach, on November 1, killing all nine people aboard. According to the recordings, the pilot initially reported manageable icing and moderate turbulence before conditions deteriorated dramatically.

The crew requested permission to climb, but moments later declared an emergency. The pilot reported an increasingly rapid descent, eventually warning air traffic controllers that the aircraft was going to crash.

One controller tried to reassure her, saying, “I’m here with you, talk to me.” But the situation continued to worsen. Then came the chilling words: “We’re out of time.”

Investigators are now examining the wreckage and flight data to determine what caused the devastating crash.
