After hours of hiking through a remote forest, two friends thought they had found the perfect place to cool off. Hidden beneath a waterfall was a deep natural pool surrounded by thick vegetation and towering rocks. They entered the water, took several photographs, and enjoyed the secluded spot, completely unaware of what was behind them.
Later that evening, while looking through the pictures, one woman noticed a strange, pale figure near the rocks. It appeared almost human, standing beside the waterfall and partly hidden by the mist.
They compared two photographs taken only seconds apart. The figure appeared in both images, but seemed to have moved closer to the water. Neither woman remembered seeing another person nearby, and they could not recall any obvious path leading to that area.
When they showed the photographs to the property owner, his reaction made things even more unsettling. He said hikers had occasionally reported seeing someone near the waterfall and advised them not to return alone, especially around sunset.
The figure was never identified. It may have been another hiker, a trick of shadows and mist, or something they could not explain. But the photographs left both women convinced that their peaceful afternoon had been far less private than they thought.
