Michael Halterman, Star of ‘1000-Lb, Sisters Has Filed For Divorce From Amy Slaton

Amy Slaton and Michael Halterman, who was featured on TLC’s show “1000-pound Sisters,” have decided to end their marriage after two years and the birth of their second child. Halterman petitioned a Kentucky court for a divorce.

The couple eloped in 2017 and formalized their vows two years later, which was documented on the show. Slaton had given birth to their second child, Glenn Allen Halterman, via c-section, who weighed 5 pounds and 11 ounces and was 17.5 inches long.

The couple was visibly happy to welcome their new addition to the family. Slaton mentioned that Glenn resembled herself and Michael, making them even more proud of the latest addition to their tribe.

Sarah Slaton, Amy’s sister, has long wished to become a mother and is happy that her dream has finally come true with the arrival of their newest family member, Gage Deon Halterman.
