Jessa Duggar Seewald has reacted after her abortion announcement. She announced some time ago that she had an abortion and a D&C. This is an important procedure to protect the uterus from infection after abortion. However, not everyone chooses to do this procedure. D&C prevents infections in bleeding and mistakes should be talked about more. Seewald reacted after her statement on Instagram.
In her post, she said that D&C is not a procedure that is done on purpose to kill the baby. She said that she had discovered in the ultrasound that she had a missed abortion. Seewald’s fans were saddened and sent her messages of comfort. With her statement, Seewald touched the hearts of many people. “My baby’s heart stopped before I had a D&C. I strongly believe that every person is created in the image of God. I would never kill a small baby. This is a big loss for me and of course I don’t feel well.”
Not only Seewald but also her family has not experienced the loss of the baby well. They feel sad and have no words to describe their pain. Jesse has also talked about this topic in a video on YouTube. She decided to include some happy memories when the couple found out they were expecting another child.
On December 21, 2022 Jesse was in a lot of pain and the next day the doctor informed her that the baby was no longer visible. “This was a difficult moment for me and I was not prepared. I had a lot of hope, but at that moment I had no words and immediately started to cry.”
Jessa then underwent a D&C procedure to remove the fetus from her womb. She has shown that she feels lonely. She said she had asked to have another ultrasound before proceeding with the D&C procedure. She had hopes that her baby could live.
