Australian model Sienna Weir, who was a finalist in the Miss Universe contest in 2022, passed away at the age of 23 after suffering from significant injuries due to a horse riding accident. Weir, who held a double degree in English literature and psychology from Sydney University, had a passion for horse riding and had been riding since she was three years old.
Her family confirmed the news of her passing and paid tribute to their “angel”, while friends and followers on social media left mournful messages. Sienna’s boyfriend, Tom Bull, described their love as “more than love”, while a friend said that heaven had gained “the most beautiful angel today”.
According to sources, Sienna was riding at Windsor Polo Grounds in Sydney on April 2 when her horse fell, leaving her with critical injuries. She was placed on life support in the hospital where she remained for a few weeks before passing away. Sienna’s last social media post was in April, and her modeling agency, Scoop Management, shared several photos of her along with the caption “Forever in our hearts”.
Sienna had planned to move to London to spend time with her family and expand her professional and social networks. She was a talented model and had made it to the finals of the Miss Universe contest in Australia. Her passion for horse riding was evident, and she had mentioned that she could not imagine life without it. The news of her passing has left her loved ones and followers in grief, united in their sorrow over a life lost too soon.
