These Target Stores Are Set To Close: Here’s The Full List

Target is closing some of its stores because they’re having a big problem with stealing and crime. Despite trying to stop theft by hiring more security and using tools to prevent stealing, the stealing kept happening. So, they decided to close nine stores in four states.

Here’s the list of the cities where the stores are closing:

1. New York City: Harlem
2. Seattle: University Way and Ballard
3. San Francisco/Oakland: SF Folsom, Oakland Broadway, and Pittsburg
4. Portland: Galleria, Powell, and Hollywood

These stores won’t be open anymore. But there are still over 150 other stores in these areas where people can shop.

Target is trying to make their stores safer by locking up some things and working with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. They’re doing their best to stop the stealing, but it’s a big problem they can’t solve alone. They hope these efforts will help keep their other stores safe for customers and employees.

It’s sad for the people who used to shop at these stores, and also for the employees who might lose their jobs. But Target is trying to do what’s best for everyone’s safety and to protect their business.
