Tristan Weigelt, a 26-year-old, shocked many with his extreme body art covering 95% of his body. He recently shared what he looked like before his tattoo journey began.
Weigelt started getting tattoos when he was 20 years old. Seeing his old pictures without tattoos felt strange to him, but inside, he still felt the same.
The most painful tattoos for him were the ones on his face and head. He described the sensation like being scraped with a metal brush. Each session lasted for about six full days, lasting five to six hours each. The pain was intense, about an eight out of 10.
Unlike many people who get tattoos with deep meanings, Weigelt’s tattoos don’t have hidden messages. He spent $50,000 over five years on his tattoos.
For those thinking about getting tattoos, Weigelt advises getting what you truly love and what feels right to you. He sees many people worrying about whether a tattoo will suit them or fit their style. His advice is simple: If you like it, go for it.
