Kate Middleton’s recent hospitalization for abdominal surgery has left Prince William feeling bewildered, according to royal experts. While the Palace stated that the surgery was planned, William now faces the task of taking care of their children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – while Kate recovers.
The Palace announced that Kate would take time to recuperate and return to her royal duties around Easter. During her recovery, William will be assisted by the children’s long-time nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, who has been with the family since Prince George was 8 months old.
Borrallo, trained at Norland College, is known for her professionalism and dedication to the family. She makes decisions regarding the children when the couple is away. Despite being firm, she collaborates with Kate and William on discipline, maintaining a balanced approach.
Royal expert Jennie Bond stated that William will divide his time between caring for the children and being by Kate’s bedside, foregoing public engagements. Bond emphasized that William might feel emotional and stressed due to the sudden turn of events, but he is committed to maintaining normalcy for the children by participating in activities like the school run, homework help, cooking, and bedtime routines.
William’s priority is supporting Kate’s recovery while ensuring the children feel secure and loved during this challenging time.
We join in wishing Kate Middleton a speedy recovery and commend Prince William for his dedication to his family during this difficult period.
