Visiting the zoo can be exciting because you get to see animals up close. These animals might be from faraway places you’ve never been to.
Even though they live in cages, they are well taken care of. But sometimes, unexpected things happen when dealing with wild animals.
Animals at the zoo usually go about their daily routines, even with people watching them. But sometimes, you might see something private, like two gorillas mating.
That’s what happened to some visitors at a zoo. The gorillas were in their enclosure, and when it was time to mate, they just did it.
The kids watching didn’t make a big deal out of it. It was just something the gorillas did, like eating or sleeping.
Visitors had two choices: they could watch or look away. One of the younger gorillas even blocked the view, not because he wanted privacy, but because he was just curious.
Afterwards, people talked about what they saw. Some thought it was too much, while others compared it to watching a grown-up movie. When wild animals are around people all the time, things like this can happen.
It’s important to be prepared to leave quickly if something like this occurs, so you can either explain it to the kids or move to a different area of the zoo.
