The family had a babysitter named Daisy who took care of their kids for years. They trusted her a lot. Daisy started babysitting when she was young, and her mom watched over her. Now, she was 16 and very good with the kids. The family’s youngest, who was only 7 months old, wasn’t very close to her yet, but he seemed happy with her around.
One day, the daycare was closed, so Daisy offered to watch the kids until evening. When the dad came home early, he saw his wife yelling at Daisy. Daisy was crying and kept saying sorry. The dad didn’t know what happened, but his wife said Daisy caused them trouble and cost them money.
Daisy left in tears while the parents argued. The dad went to comfort the kids while the mom explained that Daisy called 911 when their youngest had a problem. The little boy had a condition where he sometimes held his breath, but it wasn’t usually dangerous.
The argument started because the dad’s mom, who watched the kids earlier, forgot to tell Daisy about the baby’s condition. When Daisy saw the baby having trouble breathing, she got scared and called for help.
The mom was really angry and fired Daisy on the spot, even refusing to pay her. She said Daisy shouldn’t come back. This made the dad upset, and they argued a lot about it. The mom even went to stay with her mom for a while.
The dad thinks Daisy did the right thing by calling 911, but his wife disagrees. This shows that people can have different opinions about how to handle emergencies. It’s sad that it led to such a big fight between them.
