After a rally in Tucson, Arizona, on September 12, 2024, hosted by former President Donald Trump, many attendees became sick.
The rally was held in extreme heat, with temperatures going over 100°F, and more than 2,000 people attended. Several individuals reported strange symptoms like irritation in the eyes, swelling in their faces, and itching. This strange illness has been called a “floating illness” by some people who were affected.
Interestingly, it seems that only people on the right side of the stage were affected by this illness, while those on the left side did not experience any issues. One of the more prominent Trump supporters at the event, Mayra Rodriguez, who used to be a director at Planned Parenthood, had severe eye pain and even lost some of her vision.
Because of this, she had to go to the hospital for medical help. Some people at the rally thought that they might have been exposed to mace or some kind of chemical spray that was released into the air.
Even though there were no warnings or threats made before the rally, the Secret Service has started investigating the incident to find out what could have caused the illness. They are working together with Trump’s campaign team to get to the bottom of the situation. Some attendees are worried that this may not have been an accident and are wondering if it was done on purpose.
Despite the health scare, Trump continued with his speech and stayed focused on his campaign promises. One of the key points he talked about was his plan to remove taxes on tips for service workers, a promise that Vice President Kamala Harris, who happened to be in Tucson the same night for a different event, also supported shortly afterward.
Arizona is an important state for the upcoming election, and current polls show a very close race between Trump and Harris, with both of them tied at 46%. This makes the state a critical battleground for both parties. In addition to the presidential race, the Senate race is also heating up, with conservatives hoping that Kari Lake’s candidacy will motivate voters to come out in large numbers for the election.
As the investigation into the mysterious illness continues, many people are anxious for answers, especially those who attended the rally. Health and safety have become major concerns for Trump supporters and rally organizers, who are eager to find out what caused so many people to get sick.
