Mother Gives 4-Year-Old Daughter Bag of Food From Burger King Then Hears ‘Mom, I Don’t Want Ketchup’

Tiffany Floyd, a mother from Western New York, recently experienced a shocking and disturbing incident when she took her four-year-old daughter to a Burger King drive-thru. The plan was to grab a quick, hassle-free meal, but things took a turn for the worse after her daughter made an unexpected comment.

Tiffany shared the story in a TikTok video that has since gone viral. She explained that after handing her daughter the kid’s meal, her little girl quickly spoke up, saying, “Mom, I don’t want ketchup.” At first, Tiffany thought there had been a simple mistake with their order. She assumed the restaurant had accidentally added ketchup to the meal, something her daughter didn’t like. However, when she looked inside the bag, she was horrified to see what looked like blood all over the food.

At first, Tiffany also thought it was ketchup, but soon realized it was something much worse—actual blood. Tiffany immediately called the Burger King location where she had bought the meal and asked to speak to the manager. The manager admitted that an employee had recently cut their hand before bagging her food. Instead of showing concern, the manager was reportedly nonchalant about the situation, only offering Tiffany a refund if she returned to the store. This response left Tiffany furious and deeply upset.

Feeling that the situation was not being taken seriously, Tiffany contacted her local health department to file a report. However, she was disappointed to learn that there wasn’t much that could be done. Burger King did respond by temporarily closing the Gettzville location where the incident occurred. The restaurant underwent a deep cleaning, and the employees received retraining to prevent something like this from happening again.

Despite these measures, Tiffany remains distraught over the incident. The thought of her daughter potentially being exposed to someone else’s blood has left her deeply concerned. As a result, her daughter now needs to get blood tests done every month to ensure her health, and she has become so fearful that she refuses to eat, worried there could be blood in her food again.

Tiffany’s TikTok video has been viewed more than six million times, and she hopes it serves as a warning to others. She wants people to be more cautious when eating food from drive-thrus, urging them to check their food carefully before taking a bite. Tiffany’s experience has made her realize the importance of paying closer attention to what we’re eating, especially when it comes from fast food restaurants.

The incident has had a lasting impact on Tiffany and her daughter, and she hopes that by sharing her story, others will avoid going through something similar.
