Kallie Wright Shares The Obituary She Wrote for Her 3-Year-Old Son Levi Following Tragic Accident: ‘I will Lose Sleep Over This For Eternity’

On May 21, 2024, three-year-old Levi Wright was playing with his electric toy tractor near his home in Utah when he accidentally drove into a creek. After spending two weeks in the hospital, Levi’s parents, Spencer and Kallie Wright, had to make the heartbreaking decision to remove him from life support on June 2, 2024.

Kallie Wright shared the obituary she wrote for her son on social media, describing Levi as a thoughtful and considerate child with a pure and tender heart. Born on March 24, 2021, in Cedar City, Utah, Levi, affectionately called “Beans,” loved his family deeply. He especially adored his sister, with whom he was inseparable, and enjoyed playing with her. Although the relationship with his baby brother was still developing, Levi often wanted to hold him.

Levi was a “grandma’s boy,” frequently asking to go to “Gamma’s house” and attending church with her. He admired his father, Spencer, aspiring to be just like him. Levi had a keen interest in tractors, excavators, and other heavy equipment. His favorite songs were “Big Green Tractor” and “The Excavator Song.”

He also had a fascination with dinosaurs, pretending to be a T-Rex and roaring at people when he was too shy to speak. Levi was rarely seen without his cowboy hat and boots, and he had recently acquired his own horse, which he enjoyed riding with his family.

In another post, Kallie shared a video of the creek where Levi’s accident occurred. She explained that the creek runs through their 24-acre property, separating their house from his grandparents’ house.

A concrete road through the creek was usually a safe path for the children to cross. On the day of the accident, the water in the creek was at its peak and strong enough to push Levi’s tractor off the road.

Kallie recounted that Levi had asked to ride his tractor, and she had advised him to stay near the house since his grandmother wasn’t home. She briefly went back inside the house, a decision she deeply regrets and says will haunt her forever.

She acknowledged that while she believes their lives are predetermined by a higher power, she will lose sleep over not being there to prevent the accident.

Kallie shared three truths: she is not perfect but is a good mom, her son loved her deeply, and accidents can happen to anyone in a matter of seconds. She hopes that anyone who judges her or speaks hurtful words will never have to endure such a nightmare themselves.
