They declared that they’re not returning to the show, as that chapter of their lives has ended. They didn’t feel connected to the show anymore due to various reasons, including family issues and farm deals.
The announcement came after a sneak peek at the upcoming season revealed tensions within the family. In the trailer, the dynamic between Zach and Tori as parents of three and the relationships between Amy, Matt, and their new partners were showcased. Sadly, it seemed like the family wasn’t as close-knit as before.
There was tension surrounding Matt’s engagement to Caryn, as Zach didn’t want to discuss it and rarely visited the farm anymore. Caryn expressed feeling cut off, while Amy wondered if there was a way to mend the broken family bonds.
Nearly a year ago, Matt shared exciting news about his engagement to Caryn. Despite their divorce, Matt and Amy, along with their new partners, maintained a friendly relationship. Caryn and Matt have moved off the farm part-time and are building a second home in Arizona, which Matt has been documenting on Instagram.
Despite the positive developments in Matt’s life, there hasn’t been public congratulations from his children. Nonetheless, fans hope for the best for the soon-to-be-married couple.
