Celine Dion made a sad announcement that she has to cancel all her concerts for the year 2024. The reason behind this decision is that she has been diagnosed with a severe neurological condition called Stiff-Person Syndrome. This illness affects her ability to sing.

She explained that due to her health challenges, she needs to postpone her concerts until she is fully ready to return to the stage. The cancellation has affected Celine’s Courage World Tour, which was supposed to start in Amsterdam in August and end with two shows in London’s O2 stadium in April.
Before this, Celine had performed 52 concerts, but the tour had to be interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Celine had to cancel the North American leg of her tour previously due to her health issues.
Stiff-Person Syndrome causes muscle spasms that make it difficult for Celine to use her vocal cords like she used to. These spasms can be triggered by even minor disturbances, leading to stiffness in her torso, arms, and legs.
Despite the disappointment, Celine’s fans have flooded social media with support and well-wishes. Many fans expressed understanding and empathy for Celine’s situation.
