A little boy named Owen went on a trip with his family. But he forgot his favorite stuffed tiger, Hobbes, at the Tampa International Airport. Owen’s mom called the airport right away, hoping they could find him.
Luckily, the janitorial crew discovered Hobbes near the play area. When Tony D’Auito, the Airport Operations Center Manager, heard about Owen’s lost toy, he knew they had to help. Even though finding lost items isn’t always their top priority, Hobbes was special to Owen.
So, Hobbes started his adventure at the airport. He rode around on luggage carts, visited air traffic control, and even worked out at the employee gym. The airport staff took him everywhere and made sure he had a great time.
D’Auito remembered a story about a lost stuffed animal having a photo shoot at a museum. Inspired by that, he suggested taking photos of Hobbes’ adventure. Everyone loved the idea and joined in to make it happen.
After a day filled with fun, they turned the photos into a special album for Owen. D’Auito even added captions to create a story. Owen’s family was surprised and touched by the thoughtful gesture.
When Owen came back to the airport, he was thrilled to find Hobbes waiting for him. But that wasn’t all – he also received the album documenting Hobbes’ adventures.
Owen couldn’t stop smiling as he looked through the pictures, and his mom couldn’t help but shed a few tears of happiness.
Owen is reunited with his beloved toy, and he has a fantastic story to tell about Hobbes’ big adventure at the airport.
It was a heartwarming tale of kindness and creativity that made Owen’s day unforgettable.
