In her memoir, My Name is Barbra, she describes how artists act as the conscience of a nation, challenging those in power and standing against tyranny.
Despite her dismay at Trump’s election in 2016, Streisand decided to stay in the U.S. rather than leave. She realized her voice and influence could contribute to the fight for change. Along with other celebrities, she used her platform to promote unity and hope during turbulent times.
She remains concerned about the possibility of Trump returning to power.
