An elderly couple had their hearts set on a luxurious Mercedes car, and they decided to visit their local dealership to finally make the purchase. They had been diligently saving to meet the car’s asking price, which stood at $75,000. With anticipation in their hearts, they strolled into the showroom, only to find their dreams seemingly shattered.
To their astonishment, they discovered that the Mercedes they were eyeing had just been sold to a stunning, statuesque, and curvaceous blonde woman. The elderly man couldn’t hide his frustration, turning to the salesman with disappointment in his voice. “I thought you said you would hold that car till we raised the $75,000 asking price,” he exclaimed. “Yet I just heard you closed the deal for $65,000 to that lovely young lady there. You insisted there could be no discount on this model.”
The salesman, with a sly grin, responded, “Well, what can I tell you? She had the ready cash, and just look at her, how could I resist?” It appeared that the beauty of the young woman had swayed the salesman, causing him to break his promise to the elderly couple.
However, just as the elderly couple was about to leave, defeated and heartbroken, the young woman approached them, a mischievous glint in her eye. She handed them the car keys and said, “There you go. I told you I could get this joker to drop the price. See you later, grandpa.”
With a triumphant smile, the elderly couple realized that they had been in cahoots with the young woman all along, and she had brilliantly outwitted the salesman. This tale serves as a reminder never to underestimate the wisdom and cunning of the elderly, for they can be quite adept at turning the tables when least expected.
