Isabella’s health struggles began during her freshman year at the University of Southern California, marked by severe migraines, dizziness, and fatigue. Despite thinking it was vertigo, a more alarming symptom emerged when she started vomiting blood.
Isabella confided in her twin sister, Sophia, leading to a series of tests and an MRI that revealed the life-altering diagnosis. Urgent surgery took place just a day before her 19th birthday, and her recovery involved relearning how to walk and enduring 30 rounds of radiation. Now facing chemotherapy, Isabella maintains a positive outlook, sharing her story openly, stating, “You just have to keep living every day through the whole thing.”
