A blonde gets a new job as a physical education teacher for a class of 16-year-olds. On her first day, she notices all the kids are running around, playing soccer, and having a good time.
However, one boy is standing alone at the end of the field. Feeling sorry for him, she decides to go over and talk to him.
When she reaches him, she asks, “Are you okay?” The boy looks at her and replies, “Yes.” The teacher, wanting to encourage him to join in, says, “You know, you can go and play with the other kids.”
The boy responds, “It’s best if I stay here.” Curious and wanting to understand why, she gently asks, “Why is that, sweetie?”
The boy gives her an incredulous look and explains, “Because I’m the goalie!”
