Emily Goldberg, who used to date the famous musician Avicii, sadly passed away at 34 in California on April 3 due to a pulmonary embolism. This happened just six years after Avicii’s own sudden death in 2018.
In an emotional Instagram post, Emily shared lyrics from a song Avicii wrote for her, saying, “Come on babe, don’t give up on us.
Choose me, and I’ll show you love.” She talked about their relationship, saying, “For the two years we were together, he was my closest confidante, and my best friend.”
Emily had recently battled cancer and had won, but her passing added more sadness to the situation. Her family described her as lively and someone who loved adventures and animals, especially Pomeranian puppies.
Avicii’s death shocked everyone in 2018 when he was found dead in a hotel in Oman. He took his own life at just 28.
He struggled with substance abuse and mental health issues, which led him to stop touring before his death. His family shared how much he suffered and felt unable to go on living.
In tough times like these, it’s important to ask for help if you’re struggling with sad thoughts and feelings.
