A year ago, the Titan Submersible had a terrible accident. It was on a mission to find the Titanic wreck deep in the ocean. Some important people were on board, like Stockton Rush and others.
Then, suddenly, they lost contact with the sub. People tried to find them, but it was hard. They heard banging sounds, which they thought might be the crew asking for help. But later, they found out the sub had probably broken apart.
A documentary called “The Titan Sub Disaster: Minute by Minute” talks about what happened. They hope to learn from this tragedy and prevent it from happening again.
They found some debris and even human remains afterward. It was sad because it showed how dangerous deep-sea exploration can be.
Now, people are asking questions about the safety of subs like the Titan. OceanGate, the company that owns the sub, stopped all its operations for now.
Experts say we need better rules and training to make deep-sea exploration safer. They compare this to what happened after the Titanic sank. Back then, they made new rules to keep ships safe.
So, while we explore the deep sea, we need to make sure we’re doing it safely. That means having good rules and making sure everyone knows how to stay safe.
