The Viral Trump Photo That Wasn’t Real
For a moment, a shocking image appeared to show Donald Trump kissing White House aide Natalie Harp on a golf course. It quickly spread across social media, with thousands of people sharing it and speculating about the president’s relationship with Harp.
The image reportedly showed Trump and the 35-year-old aide at his golf course in Doonbeg, County Clare, during his visit to Ireland. Its timing made the rumors spread even faster, particularly because Melania Trump was not accompanying him on the trip.
But there was one major problem: the photograph was not real.
Closer examination reportedly revealed several strange details in the image. Among them, Harp appeared to have six fingers on one hand, while other elements of the scene also looked unusual.
There are 2 versions of a photo that have gone viral that show Trump kissing Natalie Harp.
One version is clear, the other is low res & blurry.
The clear one is the original image & clearly AI generated. (Natalie’s right hand has 6 fingers).
The blurry one is much more convincing.

AI detection tools reportedly suggested that the image had been generated or manipulated using artificial intelligence.
Harp has worked closely with Trump since joining his administration in 2022 and is frequently seen accompanying him, including during golf outings. She has also played an important role in his social-media operation.
The episode is another reminder of how easily fabricated images can become viral—and how difficult it may soon be to distinguish reality from AI-generated content.
