Vanna White Hires An Aggressive New Lawyer After Working On Wheel of Fortune For Almost 20 Years Without Earning a Raise

Vanna White, the co-host of the popular game show “Wheel of Fortune,” has hired a lawyer after not receiving a raise for nearly two decades. This news comes in the wake of Pat Sajak’s announcement of his upcoming retirement. While White earns around $3 million annually, it has been 18 years since her last pay increase. In contrast, Sajak reportedly received $15 million per year for his role on the show.

White’s contract is set to expire at the end of the 2023-2024 season, and negotiations are currently underway between her and Sony, the show’s production company. Although there were initial concerns about White’s future on the show, a source close to “Wheel of Fortune” stated that there are no plans to eliminate her role.

Pat Sajak’s departure from the show after the upcoming 41st season led to Ryan Seacrest securing a deal with Sony to become the new host starting from the 42nd season. In a statement, Seacrest expressed his excitement about continuing the show’s tradition alongside Vanna White.

“Wheel of Fortune” first premiered in 1975, but Sajak and White became the recognizable faces of the show in 1983. As one of the longest-running game shows in television history, “Wheel of Fortune” continues to captivate audiences with its iconic wheel-spinning and letter-revealing format.
