However, it was her outfit change before her emotional performance of her song “Hold My Hand” that really caught people’s attention. Gaga went make-up-free and changed into a black T-shirt, ripped jeans, and Converse sneakers.
Before her performance, Gaga delivered an emotional speech saying that her song was deeply personal to her and that we all need a hero sometimes, even if that hero can be ourselves.
Unfortunately, Lady Gaga did not win the award for Best Original Song, which marked her fourth nomination for an Oscar.
